Core Mini

The entry point. Cube-form, solid red cedar, and it will sit on a balcony.

The Mini is the lowest rung on the ladder and it is not a stripped-out one. Canadian spliced red cedar inside and out — the same timber as the flagship units, not a pine box with a cedar-look finish — on a dual solid pine base chosen for density and corrosion resistance, because the base is what fails first on a cheap outdoor cabin.

Before you buy — safety

Heat and cold immersion are not suitable for everyone. Do not use if you have a cardiac condition, uncontrolled blood pressure, a seizure history, a respiratory condition, or are pregnant. Check with your doctor first if you take beta blockers, diuretics or other blood pressure medication. Never use after drinking alcohol. Never leave children unsupervised near a plunge — all Core Wellness plunges ship with a child-locking insulated lid.

The interior uses a stepped layout rather than a flat bench, which is how a 1350 mm cube seats two people without either of them sitting in the other's lap. Sit low for a gentler session, step up for the heat.

The panels are screw-fixed and held by 6 mm stainless steel belts on both sides. Most units at this price use one or the other. Tightly joined panels do the insulation work, so there is no foam layer to compress or absorb moisture over time.

The listed cabin is the electric build. A wood-fired build is available to order and is quoted separately — it makes this the only unit in the range that works on a rural block with no power run to it. Ask us before you buy.

Factory-direct, not drop-shipped. Cabins and plunges come from a 25,000 m² manufacturer with 260 staff and seven dedicated production lines. We buy the container, so you get the factory price without the factory lead time.

Supplied without a heater

This cabin is supplied without a heater. A licensed Core Energy electrician supplies and fits an Australian-approved heater and issues a Certificate of Compliance for the circuit. The heater and installation are quoted separately — ask us for a quote with your postcode and a photo of your switchboard.

Who installs it

Core Wellness sits inside Core Solutions / Core Energy, a licensed electrical contracting business. Your heater is hard-wired by a licensed electrician who issues a Certificate of Compliance for the circuit. We are the people who install it, not an overseas seller with an email address.

What the research says

Evidence rating: strong (observational). Regular dry sauna use is associated with cardiovascular benefits in long-term Finnish population studies. These are observational cohorts, so association isn't causation — but the relationship is consistent and the effect sizes are large. We leave out claims we cannot support.

Warranty and returns

Covered by a 12-month factory warranty. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to this and are not limited by it. Parts and service are handled locally by Core Energy.
