Six people, an olive-shell form nobody else is importing, and a base that will not rot.

The Headland is the unit people photograph. The olive shell is not styling for its own sake — the curve removes the corners that waste space and trap cold air in a rectangular cabin, so a 2100 mm-wide footprint genuinely seats six along facing benches, and the shape lets you sit upright or lie down along the length.

Before you buy — safety

Heat and cold immersion are not suitable for everyone. Do not use if you have a cardiac condition, uncontrolled blood pressure, a seizure history, a respiratory condition, or are pregnant. Check with your doctor first if you take beta blockers, diuretics or other blood pressure medication. Never use after drinking alcohol. Never leave children unsupervised near a plunge — all Core Wellness plunges ship with a child-locking insulated lid.

Ventilation is the engineering story. Stainless ports at both top and bottom create a continuous loop: cool air enters low, heat and moisture discharge high. That is what keeps a six-person session breathable at 90°C instead of stifling. Both ports are meshed against insects — a real consideration for an Australian backyard.

Canadian spliced red cedar inside and out, on a timber base. We build the whole range in one timber rather than running a cheap tier and charging for the good one — the flagship is specified the same way the entry cabin is.

Factory-direct, not drop-shipped. Cabins and plunges come from a 25,000 m² manufacturer with 260 staff and seven dedicated production lines. We buy the container, so you get the factory price without the factory lead time.

Supplied without a heater

This cabin is supplied without a heater. A licensed Core Energy electrician supplies and fits an Australian-approved heater and issues a Certificate of Compliance for the circuit. The heater and installation are quoted separately — ask us for a quote with your postcode and a photo of your switchboard.

Who installs it

Core Wellness sits inside Core Solutions / Core Energy, a licensed electrical contracting business. Your heater is hard-wired by a licensed electrician who issues a Certificate of Compliance for the circuit. We are the people who install it, not an overseas seller with an email address.

What the research says

Evidence rating: strong (observational). Regular dry sauna use is associated with cardiovascular benefits in long-term Finnish population studies. These are observational cohorts, so association isn't causation — but the relationship is consistent and the effect sizes are large. We leave out claims we cannot support.

Warranty and returns

Covered by a 12-month factory warranty. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to this and are not limited by it. Parts and service are handled locally by Core Energy.
