Core Chiller

Cools it, heats it, and runs off a normal power point.

One chiller, because there was never a second one worth selling. It delivers 2800 W of cooling and 3000 W of heating across a 3°C to 40°C range on 300–700 litres, drawing 1300 W. It heats as well as it cools, which turns a plunge into a year-round contrast tool rather than a summer one.

It draws 5.8 A, which means it runs from an ordinary 10 A power point. Worth saying plainly, because nothing else in this range does — the smallest sauna heater we fit is 3.5 kW and needs a dedicated hardwired circuit and an electrician. The chiller you plug in yourself.

At 465 × 480 × 500 mm and 46 kg on four castors, it sits beside a plunge like an appliance rather than a condenser unit, and one person can move it.

Water handling is where it earns the price. Twin pumps — a self-priming pump plus a circulation pump — give it automatic filling and dry-run protection, moving up to 30 L/min. The inlet valve that makes automatic filling possible is what the -2 on the model number denotes. A reusable stainless steel filter cartridge means no consumable to reorder, and a built-in ozone system handles sanitation without chemicals in water you are about to submerge in.

Control is an LCD touch panel locally, or the iOS/Android app over WiFi — and the WiFi works over WAN, not just your home network, so you can start it cooling from the car. Scheduling by week or date, temperature logging, Apple Watch control, and multi-unit management from one account.

The self-check system runs continuously across compressor, pump and fan, with waterway-blockage detection that shuts the unit down before a restricted line damages the compressor. Power-loss memory means it resumes its setpoint after an outage.
